Working Fluid
A fluid (gas or liquid) used as the medium for the transfer of energy from one part of a system to another part.
- Air is one of the working fluids used with gas turbines.
- Freon's are the working fluids used with some refrigeration systems.
- Water is the working fluid used with steam engines.
