Whole Body Vibration
- The vibration experienced by a person whilst operating equipment or vehicles. The human body is most sensitive to vibration in 4 to 8Hz range, although vibration in the 0.5Hz to 80Hz range may cause discomfort or even permanent damage. The effect of whole body vibration may vary from a minor irritation to a major health risk depending on the exposure levels and duration.
