Weak Force

The force responsible for beta decay. This force occurs through the exchange of the W and Z0 particles. All leptons and hadrons interact via this force. The weak force controls many of the reactions that produce energy in the sun and the stars. The weak force is some hundred thousand times weaker than the strong force.
