# Vehicle Aerodynamic Drag

Resistance of a vehicle body to motion through the air.

The force on an object due to aerodynamic drag can be calculated using:

F = aerodynamic drag force [N]

C_{d} = drag coefficient

A = frontal area [m^{2}]

ρ = density of fluid [kgm^{-3}] = 1.225 kgm^{-3} air

v = velocity of object relative to fluid [ms^{-1}] = velocity [km/h] / 3.6
