Ultrasonic Cleaning

An effective cleaning process for small items and fine detail where the item is immersed in a bath of cleaning fluid that is excited at ultrasonic frequenices (i.e. greater than 20kHz).

The ultrasound energy on the bath enhances cleaning by creating cavitation conditions at the part surface, which imparts a strong scouring action to remove dirt.
