Special Theory of Relativity
A comprehensive theory of space and time that replaces Newtonian mechanics when velocities get very large.
- First Postulate of Special Relativity
- The laws of physics are the same for all inertial reference systems.
- Second Postulate of Special Relativity
- The speed of light in a vacuum is a constant regardless of the speed of the source or the speed of the observer.
