Prepreg
A continuous fibre reinforcement pre-impregnated with a polymer resin which is then partially cured so that can be stored for later use.
The resin is often partially cured to a tack-free state called "B-staging."
Catalysts, inhibitors, flame retardants, and other additives may be included to obtain specific end-use properties and improve processing, storage, and handling characteristics.
