Photons

Massless packet of energy, which behaves like both a wave and a particle. In the duality of mass/energy this is considered a particle of radiation. The carrier particle of the electromagnetic force. Electromagnetic radiation, such as light, can be thought of as beingcomposed of photons.

Einstein′s generalization of the concept of the quantum introduced by Max Planck.

Photons cannot travel faster than the speed of light.

Energy

The energy of a photon of electromagnetic radiation is the product of h (Planck′s constant) and the radiation frequency.
