Nickel Zinc Battery
Nickel oxide cathode and a zinc anode in a small amount of potassium hydroxide electrolyte.
Advantages:
- High power density
Disadvantages:
- Short cycle life
- Recharging can be tricky in that zinc can be redeposited in areas where it is not desired, leading to the physical weakening and eventual failure of the electrode.
