Molar Volume

The volume occupied by one mole of a substance under specified conditions. For an ideal gas at stp:

Vm = 22.41410x10-3 m3mol-1

Note: Occasionally the term molar volume is used for the volume occupied by a mole of a substance which is not a gas; in such cases the molar volume will be different for each substance.
