Kingpin Angle
The angle of inclination from the vertical to the kingpin axis in the front view.
Useful for reducing scrub radius. However, note that excessive kingpin and high steering angles leads to positive camber change and corner weight variations.
- Street cars have 7°-15° kingpin angle.
- Race cars have 0° to 5° kingpin angle.
