Hypergolic Mixture
An oxidizing agent and a fuel that react or ignite instantly and spontaneously on contact.
Example: Methylhydrazine and dinitrogen tetroxide is a hypergolic mixture used as a propellant in the space shuttle's orbital manoeuvring engines.
