Gravitational Potential

The worrk done in bringing a unit mass from infinity to that point. The assumption being that the gravitational potential is zero at infinity.

Where: U = gravitational potential [Jkg^-1]; G = universal gravitational constant = 6.67x10^-11Nm²kg^-2; m = mass of body [kg]; r = distance from body [m]
