Flattop Window
- The Flattop window has negligible ripple (<0.01dB) in the passband. Thus it is designed mainly for calibration purposes. However, in most other cases one will prefer the Hanning weighting since it has 2.5 times narrower bandwidth, a higher real-time rate and it gives a uniform weighting achieved by simple overlap anlysis.
