Fibonacci Number

A member of the sequence 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5,... where each number is the sum of the previous two numbers. Invented by Leonardo of Pisa in 1220.

If you take the ratio of a number in Fibonacci sequence with the previous number in the sequence this assymtotes to the golden mean which is a value of 1.618033989. This is shown graphically below:
