Centrifugal Force
- A fictitious force arising in a rotating reference system. It points away from the centre, in the direction opposite to the centripetal acceleration.
- where
- F = centrifugal force [N]
- m = mass [kg]
- ω = angular velocity [rads-1]
- r = distance from centre of rotation [m]
- m = mass [kg]
