Centrifugal Force

A fictitious force arising in a rotating reference system. It points away from the centre, in the direction opposite to the centripetal acceleration.

F = centrifugal force [N]
m = mass [kg]
ω = angular velocity [rads-1]
r = distance from centre of rotation [m]
