Blade
- An arm of a propeller or a rotating wing.
- Specifically, restrictive, that part of a propeller arm or of a rotating wing from the shank outward, i.e., that part having an efficient airfoil shape and that cleaves the air. See blade shank.
- A vane (in sense 2), such as a rotating vane or stationary vane in a rotary air compressor, or a vane of a turbine wheel.
