Baromil
The unit of length used in graduating a mercury barometer in the centimetre-gram-second system. If the barometer is located at 45 latitude at sea level and its temperature is 0°C, a length increment of one baromil will correspond to a pressure increment of one millibar. Corrections must be applied at other locations.
