Absorbed Glass Mat Battery (AGM)

A type of lead acid battery where the electrolyte is absorbed in a matrix of glass fibres holding the electrolyte next to the lead plates.

Because of the immobilized electrolyte, an AGM battery will not leak or spill and does not require water addition.
